Mike is the Vice President, Clinical Development for Palladio Biosciences. Mike has over 20 years in pharmaceutical drug development in small-, mid-, and large-size pharma companies of small and large molecules as well as biologics. Indications include fibroproliferative diseases, urological diseases, oncology, anti-infectives, diabetes, obesity, hormone replacement therapy, respiratory disease, immune diseases, ophthalmological diseases, and aesthetic medicine.
The last 6 years has been at Endo Pharmaceuticals where he led development and FDA approval of the first-in-class injectable biologic for an aesthetic condition; recently holding the position of Medical Director after successful execution as Clinical Development Lead of the program. Prior to that Mike was at Auxilium Pharmaceuticals where he was involved in 10 successful global approvals. Previous experience also includes positions at Pfizer and Genaera.
Mike started his career as an Associate Professor of Surgery at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. His activities included clinical development, medical affairs, nonclinical development, early development and novel target identification and candidate selection. He is inventor/co-inventor on 15+ patent/applications and has 35+ peer reviewed publications, 100+ abstracts and book chapters.
Mike received his undergraduate degree from Susquehanna University and his PhD in Physiology & Biophysics from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
